1. Are they local?
A Commercial Property Agent who is local to the area you are moving office to will be more familiar with the local area, local Landlords, local office properties and the local rents. They will know their “patch” inside out and will have access to local properties on the market – as well as those that are “off market”
2. Do they Represent Tenants?
It’s important to level the playing the field when it comes to negotiating an office lease, and using a Commercial Property Agent who specialises in representing tenants (as opposed to representing mainly Landlords) will go a long way in securing you the best office lease deal.
